A recent power quality measurement at 22kV recorded a rare occurrence, whereby there were two related events occurring within a minute apart of each other. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Likely, it was due to a fault developing in the first instance (and self-cleared itself), followed by the \u2018full-blown\u2019 fault.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We were informed that it was a 22kV cable fault (faulted phases: L1 & L2) on an adjacent distribution network (i.e fault in another 22kV network, ‘connected’ to our measurement point via the 66kV network path).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
